  • January 3, 2017 EES Announces a New Partner

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    EES gains a new partner

    DENVER, CO – January 3, 2017

Entitlement and Engineering Solutions (EES) announced today the addition of a fourth partner to the minority-owned civil engineering and entitlement services firm. Mary Kasal, PE, accepted the role as the Vice President/Director of Private Sector Development. “I’m honored to part of the growth of this company,” said Kasal. “And I’m excited to see what the future holds as EES continues to expand nationally,” she said.

EES President Amanda O’Connor said Mary has really stepped forward over the past few years to understand “the pulse of the staff,” a critical need for EES. Mary manages the workload and staffing needs within EES, “so if one of our teams need IT support on a project, or more CAD support, or just a day off----Mary ensures the staff’s needs are met in order to provide the very best results for our clients,” she said.

Mary joined EES in 2010 as the company’s fifth employee. During her tenure she has worked both on transportation and private commercial civil engineering projects. Mary brings 13 years of professional civil engineering experience to EES, specializing in civil site development design and project management. She executes large and small scale projects for residential, commercial, industrial and multi-use developments. Mary is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines.

EES is a full-service civil engineering and entitlement services firm founded by Amanda O’Connor in 2009 when she left her engineering position in private sector development design to pursue her goal of owning a civil design company. Since O’Connor’s background includes both private project land development and transportation civil design, she believed she could make an impact on the Denver market.  O’Connor added two business partners in 2012-- Jon Andresen and Jeff Kochevar—whose expertise has allowed EES to expand the private land development and entitlement services business units significantly.

EES has offices in Denver and Seattle and is licensed in 33 states. Serving both public and private clients, projects types might include roadway realignments, highway interchanges, and parking lot developments to name a few. Additional services include property rezoning and variances, special use permits, wetland/stream permits, and local public hearing processes. In addition, EES provides storm water management and quality, erosion control, site aesthetics and landscaping, ADA handicap mandates and zoning regulations.

EES holds minority certifications in several states and can obtain other certifications as appropriate.
